SPECIAL EVENTS

16 Strings - Friday Nov 30, Union Street Grill & Grotto, Courtenay

The wonderful voices of Dale Graham and Charlotte Harvey are well know to jazz fans in the Comox Valley and environs. Add the guitars of Doug Anderson and Rick Husband and you've got a classy, eclectic mix. Performing jazz standards, jazz not-so-standards and a few jazz-tinged pop tunes, the foursome presents a fun, polished performance you'll love. A great evening out with the Grotto's excellent dining and 16 String's equally excellent music.

Dan Craven Quartet - Friday Nov. 30 and Saturday Dec 1, Edgewater Pub, Comox

The new management at the popular Edgewater is bringing jazz to the pub! Dan Craven is a superlative tenor sax player, always exciting. He'll be joined by Bill Perison on piano, Grahame Edward on bass and Greg Hill on drums. On Dec 1 guitarist Doug Anderson will join the group.
