Calling all members (and others) - Annual General Meeting

A reminder to all Jazz Society Members, our Annual General Meeting takes place Thursday May 21 at the Courtenay Elks Hall, at 6:30 p.m. Free appetizers will be served, prior to the 7:30 p.m. performance by Indigo.

The Jazz Society Board will be elected during the meeting. Incumbents Dale Graham (Secretary), Rob Peterson (Big Band Liaison) and Rick Husband (Membership) are standing for re-election. Two pending Board vacancies are to be filled. Jackie Holt has been nominated as Treasurer, Malcolm Holt as President. Nominations for all positions will be accepted from the floor (nominees must be present), and all members present will be entitled to vote.

Not a member yet? This is a great opportunity to find out what we're all about. Meet others with a shared appreciation of jazz, have your say, and get involved in the Society's activities.
