Two of Vancouver Island's greatest songstresses, Susannah Adams and Edie Daponte are presenting a duo performance, accompanied by a sensational trio comprising Tony Genge on organ, Joey Smith on guitar and double bass and Graham Villette on drums.

We have been promised an unforgettable show. Given that each of these singers have already achieved that in their own names, we can only speculate what the dynamic of them performing together will accomplish, but it will be spectacular; perhaps everything from Edith Piaf to Ella Fitzgerald.

It is all rush seating, there are no reservations.

As well, make a note of two summer music events on the new stage at The Gardens on Anderton: July 20, when the Jazz Society will jointly host the CYMC graduating concert from this year's summer camp, and August 11 when La Familia will be performing an exciting Latin American concert. More information on these events will be published closer to time.

Thank you for your support of the jazz society's events over the past eight months. It's been our most successful year, and it fulfills our goal of keeping jazz live in Comox Valley.
