The first Jazz Jam was a huge success — a fantastically supportive audience, an incredible mix of jammers, and great energy all around! The second jam promises to build on that excitement, so come join in for another night of great music and community!
Thursday November 27 The Mex Pub, Courtenay 6-8pm Get there early – introductions start just before the music at 6:00 PM.
Host band:
Adam Robertson – drums
Drake Shoemaker – bass
Jeff Drummond – guitar
Thanks to the Georgia Straight Jazz Society, there’s no cover charge!
Please consider donating to support our amazing volunteer sound techs who work tirelessly behind the scenes.
Jammers:
Look for the instrument locker to safely store your gear! As we have such a great turnout of musicians wanting to play, Mel McCutcheon will be circulating the sign-up sheet.
All Ages Welcome!
Thanks to the generosity of The Mex Pub, underage jammers are welcome to both watch and take part. When not on stage, please head to the “GSJS Young Artists Hang” section near the bar — an off-license area reserved for young musicians and their supporters. Come play, listen, and hang — it’s going to be another unforgettable night of live jazz!
